David and Bridgette met on a cold windy day in December 2009 at Baltimore's Cross Street Market.  The two had their first date shortly after on New Year's Day 2010.   

David approached Bridgette and said "Bridgette Howard". Bridgette smiled, and the two began conversation.  Bridgette thought she might know David, but she didn't. 

As life has it,  David and Bridgette discovered they grew up in the same community. The two even attended the same elementary school.  The two only knew of each other from a distance.
